“My career as an Are citizen started early. My father works at ARE in Jyväskylä, my brother also worked here before. I also ended up at ARE through summer jobs and work placements during my studies. The company is familiar in this city anyway, because many people know or at least know someone who worked here. In the cityscape, ARE comes across mainly in some place names,” says Jussi Maula , referring to the history of the over a hundred-year-old family business in its founding city, Jyväskylä.

 

Jussi studied for a basic degree in electrical and automation installation, and after graduating in 2014, he started working at ARE as an electrician.
