ZVEI – The majority of consumers choose to replace defective electrical devices

After the EU institutions agreed today to introduce a “right to repair”, it will become easier and cheaper to have products repaired instead of buying them new. 

The availability of spare parts has already been increased in 2021. With the entry into force of the ecodesign regulations for large electrical appliances and TV sets, access to spare parts for manufacturer-independent facilities has been made easier.
