Sonepar – Sonepar Italia continues to grow with the acquisition of the Met Group

Padua, 9 December 2024 – Sonepar Italia consolidates its presence in Sicily by acquiring the MET Group , a company specialized in the sale of electrical supplies.

 

Gruppo Met, founded in 2018 from the union of Elettrogroup Sicilia and Noto Elettroforniture, can count on a sales volume of almost 15 million euros and is present in Sicily with nine stores in Gravina (CT), Bagheria (PA), Sciacca (AG), Ribera (AG), Canicattì (AG), Siracusa, Modica (RG) and with two stores in Catania. The local branches are managed by a group of about 40 sales and after-sales service professionals. 

Thanks to the acquisition of the MET Group and the recent integration of the MEGA Group, Sonepar significantly strengthens its network, bringing the total number of points of sale in Italy to over 170.
