Mersen – Mersen: Caroline Lévy appointed Group Innovation Director
Paris, February 6, 2025 – Mersen (Euronext FR0000039620 – MRN), a global expert in electrical power and advanced materials, announced today the arrival of Caroline Lévy as Group Innovation Director.
She will report directly to Luc Themelin, Mersen’s Chief Executive Officer, and succeeds Christophe Bommier, who will support her throughout the transition before retiring at the end of September.
Caroline Lévy brings a wealth of expertise, acquired over the course of a broad and varied career. With a PhD in materials chemistry, she has over 15 years’ experience supporting innovation at Saint-Gobain, as well as four years’ experience as an entrepreneur and start-up founder. Her profile combines strategic vision, a scientific approach and an in-depth understanding of market dynamics.
In her new role, Caroline Lévy will be responsible for steering and structuring the Group’s innovation strategy, anticipating market developments and strengthening Mersen’s technological leadership. Her arrival illustrates the Group’s determination to accelerate its development in terms of innovation and R&D.
