This award recognizes outstanding executives whose accomplishments offer a roadmap for other leaders

PHOENIX – Tammy Callahan, Senior Architect, Avnet and Aakash Anand, Manager, Digital Analytics and Insights, Avnet have both been recognized as one of Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s 2025 Pros to Know.

Tammy was awarded in the Leaders in Excellence category, which recognizes her as a tenured leader who’s made outstanding contributions to the supply chain space. Aakash was awarded in the Rising Stars category, which recognizes young or newer professionals whose achievements, hard work and vision have shaped the supply chain network.

Since joining Avnet in 2016, Tammy has demonstrated remarkable leadership by developing and implementing solutions for Avnet’s largest and most strategic customers and suppliers with highly complex global supply chain networks. Her efforts have resulted in several groundbreaking initiatives that have had a significant and lasting impact on Avnet’s supply chain value proposition and customer relationships.

“Tammy’s exceptional facilitation skills are a standout differentiator in all the programs she supports. Whether leading workshops, coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings, or resolving complex challenges, she excels at aligning diverse practitioners and encouraging teamwork,” said Paul Deuchar, VP, Velocity Supply Chain Solutions, Avnet. “Her ability to navigate high-pressure situations with respect and proficiency ensures that objectives are met while nurturing trust with all parties involved. Her combination of technical expertise and interpersonal finesse makes her an invaluable asset to Avnet and a leader of excellence in the supply chain field.”

Aakash joined Avnet in 2019 as a Graduate Capstone Consultant and has since transitioned to the role of Manager, Digital Analytics and Insights. In his time at Avnet, Aakash has played a critical role in defining the long-term vision for Avnet’s Digital Supply Chain offerings. His work is vital to enabling the visibility, agility and real-time, data-driven decision-making capabilities Avnet and its partners require to be resilient and profitable in today’s complex global markets.

“Aakash’s success stems from his strategic view of Avnet’s data. By understanding the organization’s data at a higher level, he develops solutions that not only meet customer needs but also bring value to Avnet as a whole,” said David Paulson, Global Vice President of Avnet United and Avnet Velocity. “His work in building tailored digital supply chain solutions exemplifies Avnet’s mission of providing SCaaS while bridging partner-specific needs with organizational goals. “
