Ahlsell – Ahlsell acquires Rexel Finland Oy

Ahlsell has entered into an agreement with Rexel to acquire their Finnish operation. 

Rexel Finland is a proficient distributor of electro-technical products and solutions with 300 employees and an annual turnover of approx. 250 MEUR.

With a long history in the market, Rexel Finland is positioned as one of the leading distributors offering a wide range of electrical products and solutions for installers, industries, utilities, marine and other B2B customers. They are known and appreciated for their extensive electrical expertise, strong relations, and deep understanding of the local customer needs.

Ahlsell’s robust scale, vast network and operational capability will unlock new opportunities for both companies. With significant opportunities in the market, the combined strengths of Ahlsell and Rexel Finland will build a stronger foundation to better serve customers in the region.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in second quarter 2025.
