Ahlsell – Kennet Göransson leaves his role as CFO of the Ahlsell Group

By the end of 2023, Kennet Göransson will leave his role as CFO of the Ahlsell Group.

It is now nine years since I was given the privilege of taking on the role as CFO of the Ahlsell Group. It has been nine fantastic years, not only for me as CFO, but also with regards to the company’s development. We have gone from SEK 21 billion in sales to almost SEK 50 billion now that the acquisition of Sanistål is completed. The time has come for me to hand over to a new person who will have the opportunity to contribute to continued strong development for the Group,” says Kennet Göransson.

To ensure a good transition, Kennet will remain in the role as CFO until a successor is in place.

Kennet has made a tangible contribution to the Ahlsell Group’s strong development during these nine years. In addition, he has contributed to increased professionalization of the Group’s financial processes and has also been a highly appreciated leader,” says Claes Seldeby, President and CEO of the Ahlsell Group.
