Schneider Electric – Schneider Electric appoints Frédéric Godemel as Executive Vice-President for Energy Management, Chris Leong as Chief Sustainability Officer and Jing Ren as Executive Vice-President for Strategy, Brand and Communications

Schneider Electric, the leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, is appointing Frédéric Godemel as Executive Vice-President for Energy Management, Chris Leong as Chief Sustainability Officer and Jing Ren as Executive Vice-President for Strategy, Brand and Communications, effective January 1, 2025.  ​

​Frédéric Godemel, who started at Schneider Electric in 1990 and was most recently Power Systems & Services EVP, will become the new Energy Management Executive Vice-President and is joining the Executive Committee. Frédéric is taking over the role from Olivier Blum, appointed Chief Executive Officer in November 2024.​

Chris Leong’s new mission as Chief Sustainability Officer will be to advance the company’s sustainability commitments and goals, continuing to strengthen its leadership position in the field. Prior to this appointment, Chris has been Chief Marketing Officer for a decade, establishing a strong marketing practice and excellence in the industry.​

Jing Ren will lead a newly formed Strategy, Brand & Communications team, also joining the Executive Committee, with a mission to effectively connect the company’s strategy with our brand purpose and mission.​
