Siedle – Simply cost-effective: the bus standard line rectifier

Siedle

Easy planning, cost-effective supply.

This is the slogan for our bus standard line rectifier. Whether it’s an audio or video door intercom system, a detached house or smaller residential unit: You only need this one line rectifier to supply up to ten bus users or eight residential units. It requires next to no planning and the price is extremely affordable.

Add a video function with ease

If you need to add the video function to an audio system, the bus standard line rectifier is the first choice. If it’s already installed, no other line rectifier is needed to operate the camera. If you have an existing system with Siedle Vario, only the camera module needs to be installed. In other systems, the attractively-priced bus standard line rectifier replaces the existing audio line rectifier and supplies all bus users.

Space-saving wonder

Not only does the bus standard line rectifier save money, it also saves space. In the case of video systems, an additional transformer is not needed and it takes up just nine horizontal pitches in the control cabinet.

EMR Additional Notes:

  • BUS:
    • BUS is an acronym for “Binary Unit System”. A “Binary Unit System” is used to transfer data between participants in a network with the help of cables.
    • A bus is a subsystem that is used to connect computer components and transfer data between them. For example, an internal bus connects computer internals to the motherboard. A “bus topology” or design can also be used in other ways to describe digital connections. A bus may be parallel or serial. Parallel buses transmit data across multiple wires. Serial buses transmit data in bit-serial format.
    • C-Bus Home Automation or more simply ‘C-Bus’ is a microprocessor-based control and management system for Buildings and Homes. It is used to control lighting and other electrical services such as pumps, Audio Visual Devices, Motors, etc.

  • Rectifier and Regulator:
    • A rectifier will convert an AC voltage to a DC voltage. There are half and full wave rectifiers. A regulator will provide an output voltage lower than the input voltage.
