Siemens – Siemens to deploy technology at 60 government buildings in UAE for 27% energy savings

• Decarbonization program with UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure will see 60 buildings retrofitted with technology for energy efficiency
• Program targets 27% energy and water consumption reduction compared to baseline
• Energy saving goal equivalent to 15,400 metric tons of CO2 reduction
• Siemens has already successfully implemented retrofits to seven Ministry buildings, resulting in 20% energy and water savings

Siemens Smart Infrastructure has signed a contract with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a decarbonization program which will see 60 government buildings retrofitted with technology focused on energy efficiency and user comfort.
