Würth – The Würth Group and the non-profit Würth Foundation grant EUR 50 million to promote cancer research
Over the next ten years, the Würth Group and the non-profit Würth Foundation will provide a total of EUR 50 million to fund research to combat pancreatic cancer at Champalimaud Foundation in Lisbon, Portugal.
The Champalimaud Foundation is a global research pioneer and sets new standards in knowledge to promote human health and well-being. The foundation aims at becoming a global leader in scientific and technological innovation to diagnose, treat, and control diseases. Activities at the Champalimaud Center for the Unknown (CCU) in Lisbon focus on research in the areas of neuroscience and cancer.
