ZVEI – Electrical exports are starting 2024 with a slight increase

At the beginning of 2024, exports from the German electrical and digital industry were able to increase again for the first time in six months – albeit only slightly, with an increase of 0.3 percent compared to the previous year to 20.8 billion euros. 

When it comes to imports of electrical and electronic products into Germany, however, the weak phase has continued. Imports in January fell by 7.2 percent compared to the previous year to 21.3 billion euros.
