ZVEI – German electrical and digital industry: Incoming orders continue to decline

In February 2024, orders in the German electrical and digital industry fell 10.0 percent short of the corresponding figure for the previous year. 

While domestic orders fell by 7.6 percent in February, orders from foreign customers fell more sharply (- 11.9%). New orders from the eurozone and 12.8 percent fewer from third countries were received than a year earlier.
