ZVEI – German electrical and digital industry: Incoming orders rise slightly, but trend reversal not yet in sight

In October 2024, incoming orders in the German electrical and digital industries were 1.8 percent higher than the previous year. 

While domestic orders continued to decline in October (-4.1%), foreign orders exceeded the previous year’s figure by 7.2 percent. Customers from the eurozone increased their orders by 8.2 percent.
